Booking & Payment

How do I book a residence at Cocoon Bay?
You can enquire and book directly via our website's enquiry form or by emailing bookings@cocoonbay.com. We handle all bookings personally — no third-party platforms. Once your booking is confirmed, a 30% deposit is required to secure your reservation, with the remaining 70% due 6 weeks before your check-in date.
What is the minimum stay?
The minimum stay is 7 nights for our Penthouse and Villa residences, and 5 nights for Three-Bedroom and Two-Bedroom apartments.
How much deposit is required?
A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. The remaining 70% balance is due 42 days (6 weeks) before your check-in date.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept bank transfer only. Full payment details are provided upon confirmation of your booking. We do not accept credit or debit card payments at this time.
Can I change my booking dates?
Yes. Date change requests can be submitted via the My Booking page using your booking reference and email address. All changes are subject to availability and approval by our team.

The Residences

How many residences are there at Cocoon Bay?
Cocoon Bay has 11 private residences across four types: 2 Penthouses, 1 standalone Villa, 4 Three-Bedroom apartments, and 4 Two-Bedroom apartments.
What is included in the rental price?
All residences include daily housekeeping, high-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning, private parking, and access to communal areas including the swimming pool. Electricity and water are included in the rate.
Are the residences suitable for families with children?
Yes. All residence types comfortably accommodate families. Our Three-Bedroom and Two-Bedroom apartments are particularly popular with families, and our concierge team can arrange childcare services on request.
Is there a swimming pool and parking?
Yes. All residences have access to a communal swimming pool and a private parking space.

Your Stay

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 14:00 and check-out is by 11:00. Early check-in or late check-out may be arranged subject to availability — please let us know in advance.
What is the tourist fee?
Mauritius levies a mandatory Tourist Fee of €3 per person per night for guests aged 12 and over, effective from 1 October 2025. This fee is set by the Mauritius Tourism Authority (MTA) and is collected separately from your accommodation cost.
What concierge services are available?
Our team can arrange airport transfers, restaurant reservations, water sports, island excursions, car hire, bicycle rental, grocery delivery, wellness and spa bookings, and childcare. Please submit requests in advance so we can coordinate everything before your arrival.
Is airport transfer included?
Airport transfers are not included in the standard rate but can be arranged on request by our concierge team. Please let us know at the time of booking.

Location & Getting There

Where is Cocoon Bay located?
Cocoon Bay is located in Grand Baie, on the north coast of Mauritius, Indian Ocean. Grand Baie is Mauritius's most popular coastal village, known for its turquoise lagoon, restaurants, boutiques, and water sports. The residences are approximately 100 metres from the beach.
How far is Cocoon Bay from the airport?
Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (MRU) is approximately 45 kilometres from Cocoon Bay, a journey of around 45 minutes by car depending on traffic. Our concierge team can arrange airport transfers.
When does Cocoon Bay open?
Cocoon Bay is scheduled to open in 2026. We are currently accepting reservations and enquiries for stays from our opening season.
